Notes

  • Norma's eyepatch is on her left. I'm putting this here because I fuck this up, too. They also have no left eyelashes.
  • The flowers over Monarque's left eye are milkweeds. Removing them would reveal Norma's wound because... it's a mask.
  • Monarque's face and horns are fuzzy (think flocked teddy bears). Nowhere else.
  • Feel free to give Monarque a tail. Or any character, really. But I think it'd fit it best.
  • Monarque has a singular pair of antennae on the top of its head. The rest are whiskers.
  • The wings on the top of Monarque's head act as a cape.
  • Monarque's teeth are yellow. Norma's are pearly white.

Trivia

  • No, Norma is not named after the constellation, the Milky Way minor arm, or the supercluster that all share the same name. Weird coincidence! I named her Norma because I removed the 'N' from Norman. Sorry.
  • The claws on Monarque are retractable.
  • Monarque can either be spelled as 'Monarque' or 'Monarch'. It doesn't matter. I stick with Monarque because it's a bit confusing to alternate between the two names.
  • Norma's special interest for the majority of her life has been butterflies, particularly monarchs.
