The Avengers
The Avengers! The ultimate fighting machines, the World's Strongest Crusaders, the poster boys of supers, living legends, and Earth's Mightiest Heroes!
The Avengers is a group of supers led by Tony Stark and Steve Rogers to uphold justice, liberty, prosperity, and hope. The Avengers notably lack specifc headquarters, unlike the Fantastic Four or the X-Men, but mostly operate out of Stark Tower in Manhattan, Nouvelle-Yorke.
This group typically reserves themselves for 'higher level' threats (potentially obliterating the city minimum), but even then, are more of an absolute last resort than anything else.
Some debates circulate regarding the group's sincerity to their cause. Rhetorics of them being walking propaganda from the Leathucarian government, violent (and often unresolved) disputes behind closed doors, blatant disregard and condescension for other fellow supers, calling the X-Men when faced with a 'mutant problem', and the list goes on.
The stage showing a play of hope and a reason to keep going shudders and shakes from its shaky foundations. It's only a matter of time until it unravels at the seams.

Reputation
As aforementioned, the Avengers are the staple of supers as a whole. They've served as inspiration for many, especially children, to adopt idea of being a 'superhero' and fight in the name of the greater good. A large majority of supers recite the Avengers as their biggest idols and inspiration, especially Tony Stark or Steve Rogers.
Merch of Earth's Mightiest Heroes litter toy shops and gift boxes, they're fawned over by enthusiastic fans on all corners of the internet, and are beloved celebrities in the mainstream media, which is quite a rarity among supers! Being able to meet a member of the Avengers is similar to meeting a highly famous actor or musician!
Of course, Tony Stark was already a celebrity long before collaborating with Steve Rogers, but that's neither here nor there...
According to some other supers, the Avengers are rather snobbish, dickish, and vile to work with, if you will. The Avengers posit their ideas as absolute fact, almost as if they were a consensus, and treat their fellow supers as lesser, even if they're (temporary) Avengers members. Some whine and groan about the patronizing tones and team ups being small publicity boosts that Stark adores, commenting they're a "dysfunctional family" at best.
Trivia
- You might be asking where some characters are -- such as Thor and Doctor Strange -- ...well, there's no magic in Earth-256-B; there are also no gods or wizards -- including Doctor Strange, Thor, Loki, Odin, etc. who are all comic book characters here! Oh, there's no aliens either. Guardians of the Galaxy and company are out.
- Superfamily is canon! But worse!
- Yes, the Avengers' Mansion is a thing.
- Yes, schools do go on field trips to Stark Tower.
- There's probably some evidence somewhere suggesting that some of the adversaries of the Avengers were deliberately created by the Avengers themselves to boost publicity or gain profit.
- Vision does not have an Infinity Stone.
