Howdy.
My name is Kirimu. Machine works fine, too. Nice to meet you.
Know me by another name? Most likely, that one will work as well.
I'm a recluse (and a yapper) who's got shit social skills and likes certain things too much. Sometimes, they spiral into things I need to get out of my system because I am very much a regulated and well-adjusted human being, just like you. This site's a good example of that.
I've kind of lived under a rock my whole life in terms of things within the public consciousness; I never cared about things if they didn't relate to my interests. Especially now, since I decided to quit social media and kill my phone usage entirely in 2025. I've stood my ground surprisingly well, I'd say, but things now go even more over my head than before. I feel like a grouchy old man every time my friends show off new trends and memes now, eugh…
I have more time for things I like doing though. So, that's a plus! I also think my memory's a smidge better than it was, maybe.
Since doomscrolling's off the table, my free time's taken up by drawing, reading, Vinesauce, and old video games. I say old video games specifically because I never hear about the newer ones and I'm not shilling out $80 for AAA shit I don't even know of when I can emulate for free.
Anyway, welcome to my weird nerd site. Thanks for stopping by, sorry about the clutter, insert formal gratitude here, and let me know if there's a typo or if something's broken, por favor, thanks much.
Interests
- Video Games!!
I really love video games. Hahaha.
I'm more into 'retro' games and older game hardware than anything particularly novel (outside of a few titles), but my sentiment still stands. I suck dick at every game I play, but I still enjoy playing them anyway.
If you're curious, my favorite consoles are the PS1 and Sega Saturn, but I also greatly enjoy arcade games, too.
If you're still curious, my favorite video game is Undertale with Ultrakill at a very close second. No, I don't like Deltarune nearly as much as I like Undertale though, sorry to say.
Here's my shelf; containing both games I like and/or I'm actively playing as of 2026 (or ones I really want to play, anyway…)!
- Emulation!!
I need a means to play my nerd games, yeah?
Currently, I'm using DuckStation, MAME, PPSSPP, and PCSX2. Mostly Duckstation though. PS1 games have captivated me recently.
I used to only use RetroArch… but, after three or four years, the shitty UI got to me. So, now I'm in the process of looking for a frontend — and more emulators for different systems, so I can play more games — to coalesce all of my ROMs.
Do I need a frontend? …No, but I'm a sucker for style.
- Science
Science is cool. I read science books as a kid for fun.
I'm interested in just about anything that isn't geology, but I'm more of a fan of the space sciences than anything else; specifically: cosmology, astronomy, astrobiology, prebiotic chemistry, and astrophysics. Mostly cosmology though…
I also enjoy arachnology, entomology, chemistry (begrudgingly), and biology (also begrudgingly).
In a typical academic setting, I find any field of science to be horrible, but — alas — I still like these regardless.
- Art
I've been drawing less and less as I've gotten older for a wide variety of reasons, but I'm still an art kid at heart.
- Vinesauce!!
I like watching Vinny and Joel play weird games a lot. Remember: Linux will brick your computer and make you drop out of college.
- Music
In terms of music, I listen to… not everything, but a lot of things! My favorite genres are rap, rock, punk, and metal.
My favorite album is Retcon by Red Vox; my favorite songs on there are The New Flesh and Memory Loss. Retcon makes me so happy whenever I listen to it!
As of 2026, aside from random YouTube mixtapes and R&B DJ playlists, I'm listening to…
- Comics
This is a weird one.
When I first got into Marvel in my tweens, it was through Into the Spider-Verse and copious amounts of fan-fiction until I stumbled upon Spideypool. I near-exclusively consumed fan-fiction (and lengthy retrospectives) concerning Marvel for years because I disliked the convoluted mess that was the Marvel multiverse. It's still intimidating to this day, honestly!
I liked comic book characters, but I couldn't bring myself to like comics… until now! …In my adulthood. Maybe it's just because I'm less picky.
As of 2026 I'm flipping through…
Why Does This Exist?
I first watched Across the Spider-Verse when I was sixteen.
I was disgustingly into Marvel at the time and was hyped for the film. Saw it, liked it, looked at cool stuff relating to it on social media and saw a revival of those Spider-sonas people made in 2018. I thought each and every Spider-sona I saw was the coolest thing on the goddamn planet… except for the AI-generated ones. There's so many of them, I genuinely got sick of 'em. It was like looking into a content farm of my own interests with how easy it was to saturate tags and the like. So, I made a Spider-sona as a little one-off thing that was disgustingly self-indulgent. I could never really see myself in Peter Parker or even Miles Morales — I've always turned to Deadpool if I felt unheard — despite liking Spider-Man a lot… so I thought it was cool I could be Spider-Man the way I wanted to.
I could finally truly feel seen through my characters and world along with exploring who I am as a person. I can make my perfect story and no one can stop me. Isn't that great?
Me, a guy who's been grappling with feeling like an absolute freak for his whole stinkin' life, feeling a little less like a freak because I just so happen to be really into Spider-Man. Whatever assauges the demons, man.
Manifesto
I don't have a manifesto.
I can't really say this site was birthed out of love for the old web since… y'know, I'm too young for that. However, I was aware of the indie web during my teens and thought it was soooo cool. I remember spending hours site-hopping in my free time instead of doing homework.
I was bound to try my hand at webmastery eventually. So, why not combine this new interest with my biggest one: the random Marvel AU I made because I'm so normal and well-adjusted about the things I like?
This website was created with the goal of organizing information regarding TWWS in a way that's comprehensive, complete, fun (for me) to make, fun (for you) to read about (maybe), and violently disassociated from mainstream social media. I sound like an old fart saying that, I'm sure, but technology sure seems to be cannibalizing itself lately, no?
I'm still very much ass at web development and creating stories, but maybe it'll get better with time. I apologize for any hiccups in the meantime. This is like, the fifth fucking iteration of this goddamn site. I'm so tired.
…But since I'm being held at gunpoint, I'll tell you what. Here's a manifesto: I hope you have fun.

Trivia
- I can't think of a favorite food, but I will fuck up a chocolate milkshake any day of the week. That, and whipped cream?? Fuck, yes, dude.
- Dog person, but cats are fine, too. My favorite breed is the samoyed. They're so happy and cute and fluffy… augh.
- According to a friend of mine, if I were a Pokémon, I'd be Riolu.
- If you wanted to get real technical about my gender, I refer to myself as a Masculine and Nonbinary individual; also called a MAN for short. Heheheh. I just say I'm transmasc and call it a day.
- In a very, very ideal world, I'd like to be an arcade machine repairman.
- I've nearly been struck by lightning.
- I had a sick ass high school internship where I researched aliens in a university for a summer. It's my most cherished K-12 memory ever, I think.
- I made a shitty platformer when I was fifteen and then never tried making a game again. Although, the allure of game development is palpible, no? I'd like to make something for the PS1/a PS1-inspired combat RPG(?) about another paracosm of mine. It might get put onto the site one day. Don't count on it.
- I didn't understand how things like pretend play or imaginary friends worked when I was younger. I didn't see the point in them and genuinely thought people just conjured up hyper-realistic hallucinations at will.
- I loved books as a kid. However, I never actively engaged with fiction because I could never 'get' it, so to speak. I enjoyed being read to, sure, but I rarely picked up fiction books until my tweens (unless they were thick and I could flex my literary prowess). Even while I was in my tweens, I remember a period where I'd just read dictionaries.
- When I was little, I was really into the concept of roleplays and video games. My actual experience with roleplays is practically nonexistent because I was — and still am — way too shy, but the idea of virtual spaces and pretend play fascinated me. It was probably because I had zero idea why people indulged in fiction. Boy, look at me now.
- I didn't have an edgy emo phase as a tween; I had an edgier nihilism phase. It's worse than you think.
- As a little baby transmasc, one of the real-life names I debated using was Wade due to my pedantic interest with Deadpool. I'm glad I didn't! It's not a bad name, but, even now, I still don't quite think it's for me.
